Atlanta Lboxer in Houston

From: eli_slider (eli.harrell@gmail.com) | Date: 2007-11-27 15:51:21 UTC
Hi all. Just wanted to see if anyone would be interested in meeting
up for an exchange. I am here in Houston on business with some time
to kill. I also am looking for any advice on boxes not to miss. I
will be here through Thursday afternoon.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

We can't meet up this week, there is a bug going through our house.  However, if you want a lot of boxes from many different placers all in one location, I would suggest Memorial Park and the Arboretum.  Lots of the boxes there are from the OZ gathering we had in October, and there are some other oldies but goodies mixed in as well.  If you need help searching through names of boxes, let us know. -Mother of Five

Sorry to hear that you guys are sick. Hope you feel well soon while
the sun is still out. Thanks for the recommendations! I actually am
staying very near there and have already walked a lot of the trails in
Memorial park. I am having a really tough time though with all the
boxes that refer to purple and blue trails there. I swear I am
starting in the right place (between the baseball fields and the
football field where the Pigskin box is ) but the trail
map only shows a violet trail (purple of course) and all the markers
look like they are for that trail although some have faded and look
bluish. Anyway, I tried for several yesterday with little success. I
am planning to return tomorrow and get as many as I can at the
arboretum and Memorial Park.

Thanks for the reply,
Eli

If you're free tomorrow morning, I can meet you...I am planning on planting a seasonal box at Memorial Park tomorrow...and I can help you get a little better oriented.

That wold be really cool. I think I will be free assuming I get a
little cooperation this evening and can get some work done. I think I
gave you my cell # in AQ mail. If not, email me and I'll send it to
you tonight.

Thanks,
Eli

p.s. Due to bone-heads at this project I'm working on being so behind
schedule, I may actually be here Friday.

Just wanted to let you guys and gals know that I will be in town
tomorrow now as well (Friday the 30th). Still haven't met any of you
so let me know if anyone has time to meet for an exchange and a cup of
coffee at the least. My PT is also with me and will be freely
available if asked for. I have a good part of today free as well so I
will go ahead and post my cell # here in case anyone else has free
time today as I will not be checking email much until this evening.
